This link shows how flow sketches used in hard copy training manuals can be animated and reused in a computer based training module. Please note that the file was created for demonstration purposes and is therefore rather crude.

A finished product may use professional voices for narration, higher quality animations, actual video footage, custom background music, and "talking head" narratives to produce a full multimedia experience. Quizes, reviews, certification examinations, and central scorekeeping database help complete the computer based training module. Bob Kaplan's extensive internet tech experience allows for deployment platforms such as internet, intranet/internal network, and compact disk or DVD. The CBT part of a training intervention can be phase II in the creation an overall training system. When properly executed, the hard-copy training manual can provide a nearly "zero-loss" foundation for the CBT phase. "Zero loss" meaning that all material used in the training manual is re-used in the CBT module.
